Brandon ‘Bug’ Hall Turns to GoFundMe as His Family Prepares for Baby No. 6

Former child star Brandon “Bug” Hall has launched a fundraiser as he and his wife prepare to welcome their sixth child. Hall, 41, said the money would help cover immediate bills and finish making their new home ready for the growing family. In a message accompanying the campaign, Hall said he had avoided asking for public help for six years. He explained that the family had recently moved onto new land, but was short of materials and behind on several expenses, including phone service, propane for their camper and an unexpected electric hookup fee. Hall said the family was happy to be in its new surroundings and had even found enjoyment in roughing it. But with the baby due in less than a month, he said he wanted to get the remaining essentials in place before his wife gave birth. He also said he hoped to complete the work within two weeks so he could take on employment before the arrival. The campaign set a $2,000 target. At the time of the report, more than 100 donors had contributed over $9,000. Hall acknowledged that many people were facing difficult circumstances and said supporters could help by donating, sharing the fundraiser or offering prayers. The appeal comes years after Hall stepped away from Hollywood. The actor, widely recognized for playing Alfalfa in The Little Rascals, has described his move away from the entertainment industry as a choice to live off the grid and take a vow of poverty. Hall was also reportedly arrested in Ohio in April after missing a court appearance connected to a traffic citation. Reports said the citation stemmed from an allegation that he drove without liability insurance, and that he was charged with failing to appear.
