Catherine, Princess of Wales, Reveals Her Natural Waves During a Quiet Nature Visit

Catherine, Princess Of Wales
Catherine, Princess of Wales, offered a rare look at her naturally wavy hair during a visit to a mental health charity in Kew, London. Photos and video from the outing were shared on Instagram on Nov. 6, showing the princess taking part in a session focused on nature and well-being. Catherine wore jeans with a navy turtleneck and an earthy barn jacket, accessorizing with her sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring and dangling diamond earrings. Her hair fell in loose waves around her shoulders, a change from the pulled-back styles and polished blowouts she is more often seen wearing at public engagements. The visit took place in October at one of Dose of Nature’s weekly “Art in Nature” sessions in Pensford Field. The nonprofit says it uses time outdoors to support the psychological and physical well-being of its clients. Catherine spoke with the charity’s founders, Dr. Alison Greenwood and Dr. Georgina Gould. Dose of Nature thanked the princess for what it called a “special” day, saying her longstanding interest in the links between nature, prevention and well-being reflected an important conversation about supporting healthier lives. Catherine has previously described nature as her “sanctuary.” In a video released during Mental Health Awareness Week in 2025, she said connecting with nature can help people understand themselves, the world around them and one another. The article also notes that she announced in March 2024 that she had cancer and said in January 2025 that she was in remission.
