Druski Turns Elizabeth Holmes’ Unsettling Stare Into an ‘SNL’ Sketch

Druski took aim at the strange tension of the Elizabeth Holmes documentary phenomenon in a new Saturday Night Live parody, stepping into a sketch that played with the uneasy scenes viewers have come to recognize. The comedian, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, appeared in a trailer for “Druski Sees Everything,” alongside cast members Jane Wickline and Ben Marshall.
The sketch re-created a moment involving Holmes and her partner, Billy Evans, as they prepared food at home. In the original scene, Evans takes the mixing bowl from Holmes while she is beating eggs. Wickline portrayed Holmes in the parody, including the low, deliberate voice that has become part of the public image the sketch was referencing.
When Wickline’s Holmes asked Druski to see her as an ordinary person, he answered that, based on what he had seen, that would be difficult. He then took the bowl and began beating the eggs himself, turning the awkward domestic exchange into a comic escalation. The sketch also leaned into the famously intense stare-down between Holmes and Evans, with the performers trading lines about who was being “real.”
Druski later appeared in whiteface as a second version of Holmes, facing off against Wickline’s portrayal. The article notes that the creator has previously gone viral for sketches in which he uses whiteface to play other characters. In this scene, the competing Holmes characters repeated the same insistence on their own authenticity, pushing the stare-down further into parody.
The trailer also included a mock review attributed to Variety, joking that the sketch somehow made Nathan Fielder seem like the reasonable choice. Druski’s appearance followed a busy episode hosted by the digital creator, who the article describes as the first online content creator to host SNL before achieving the kind of crossover profile associated with performers such as Issa Rae and Quinta Brunson.
