Jessica Simpson Reportedly Offers Ex More Money to Move Their Children to Nashville

Jessica Simpson
Jessica Simpson is reportedly hoping to bring her family closer to Nashville, where she is said to be dating Thomas Eisenhood. A source cited by RadarOnline.com claims Simpson has offered her estranged husband, former NFL player Eric Johnson, additional money if he agrees to relocate with their children. According to the outlet’s source, Simpson finds the long-distance routine difficult and wants more time with Eisenhood. The source described her visits with the children as brief and said she would prefer to spend less time traveling between California and Tennessee. The report says Simpson and Eisenhood were first linked in April, more than a year after she announced her separation from Johnson. The couple share three children: Maxwell, Ace and Birdie. An insider quoted in the report says Johnson does not want to uproot them from California, where he has his own life. The same source claims Simpson has considered possible arrangements, including offering him more money, but that he is reluctant to move. RadarOnline.com also reports that Simpson is expected to keep the children in California unless Johnson agrees to a different custody arrangement. The outlet says the separated pair are still living in the same Hidden Hills home, despite announcing their split in January 2025. The report suggests that Eisenhood could instead move to California, but a source says his work and support network are in Tennessee and that relocating might put pressure on the relationship. These claims come from unnamed sources quoted by the outlet; the report does not include direct comments from Simpson, Johnson or Eisenhood.
