Kebba Madi Bojang Promises NDP Would Defend Brikama Ba Residents’ Rights

National Democratic Party leader Kebba Madi Bojang has called on Brikama Ba residents to support his party in the coming elections, promising that NDP representatives would raise their concerns and defend their rights in the National Assembly.
Speaking during a nationwide tour, Bojang said an NDP-led government would put the needs of ordinary Gambians first. He argued that residents should think carefully before casting their votes and choose representatives who would speak for them.
Bojang criticised the current National Assembly, alleging that proposals which do not serve the interests of the incumbent administration are routinely rejected. He linked that pattern to the country’s continuing economic hardship and governance challenges. His remarks framed the election as a chance for voters to decide whether their interests are being adequately represented.
The party leader also promised a more honest and transparent approach to governing. He said Gambians deserved leaders who would be truthful about what they could deliver, rather than offer promises that might not be realistic. An NDP government, he maintained, would be open about both its plans and the obstacles that could prevent them from being achieved.
Bojang’s appeal focused on the role of elected representatives: he said NDP members would work to ensure local concerns reached the National Assembly and would advocate for the rights of the people they represent. He did not outline specific policy proposals in the remarks described, but presented transparency and responsiveness as central commitments. The pitch to Brikama Ba residents was clear: consider the party’s pledge to represent ordinary people when deciding how to vote.
