Kyle Cooke Says His Concerns for Amanda Batula Are ‘Valid’ After West Wilson Dig

Kyle Cooke says he still cares about estranged wife Amanda Batula and stands by his concerns about her, while acknowledging that his emotions have sometimes affected how he has responded publicly. In a statement shared to Instagram Stories on Thursday, the Summer House star said he wanted to address the situation once and avoid adding to the online negativity.
“Despite our differences, I will always care about Amanda,” Cooke said, adding that he tends to fight hard for people he cares about and sometimes goes too far. He described the situation as emotional and frustrating, and said those feelings had occasionally got the better of him. Even so, he insisted that this did not make his concerns invalid.
Cooke’s statement followed a since-deleted comment he left beneath a recent Instagram post by West Wilson, Batula’s boyfriend. The article reports that Cooke accused Wilson of damaging Batula’s life and career, and included a personal insult. It was unclear whether Cooke or Wilson removed the comment.
The dispute also comes amid news that Batula is leaving Bravo’s In the City. Cooke said he had wanted both of them to have the chance to share their perspectives on the show, but recognized that Batula makes her own decisions. According to the report, Batula responded to a post on X by criticizing Cooke’s conduct after her departure became public. She said her choice was connected to what she described as “continued” circumstances, though the available article cuts off before giving the full explanation.
Cooke’s comments add another public turn to tensions involving the former couple and Wilson. He said he would leave the matter there, while emphasizing that his concern for Batula remained. The report does not provide further details about what he believes is happening or about the couple’s private discussions.
